Motor wiring protection

Protect both motor leads.

In an Energy360 motion rig, protect both wires between the motor controller and each motor. The controller reverses the voltage across these leads to change motor direction, so neither wire is a permanent negative return.

For the recommended Energy360 configuration, use one 30 A breaker in each motor lead: two 30 A breakers per motor. Follow the wiring plan for your build.

Choose breaker ratings to suit the cable, motor circuit and system voltage. Confirm suitability for the circuit’s DC voltage and fault current before installation.
